Half cup of caster sugar, 1 lemon grated zest, lemon juice, chopped ginger, eggs, cream and yogurt. Let us see how to use these ingredients in making the delicious ice cream. Take a medium pot and add caster sugar, lemon juice, ginger and lemon zest in it. Heat the pot and stir the mixture until the sugar in the mixture gets dissolved. Bring the pot to boil for some minutes and turn it to simmer for few minutes. Then take the pot from heating. While the mixture of lemon juice, sugar and ginger is boiling make ready the other things. Take four eggs and add only the whites in the electric mixer and beat it. Beat the eggs until the stiff peaks were formed. While beating up the egg whites slowly, gradually add some hot syrup in it. Then turn the electric mixer to high and beat the mixture of syrup and egg whites until it gets very thick and cool. This stirring process will take time about ten minutes.
After the mixture reach the stage of thickness, transfer the mixture in to a large bowl. Using the same mixer bowl that is used in beating the egg whites will reduce the time. Fold the yogurt and mix it in the egg whites that were beaten up softly. Do this until the folding of yogurt evenly gets incorporated with the beaten egg whites. Place these folding in the container and cover the folding. Place it in the fridge and freeze for about minimum 6 hours. Take the bowl from the freezer and serve it as ice cream flavors having the flavor of ginger and lemon. Since lemon juice is added in this cream, this ice cream can be kept in the freezer for 3 to 4 weeks. If you are going to invite your friends for a party, you can prepare this ice cream even two or 1 week before and serve it on the day.
